European calendar overview
Beyond France, the HYROX season now covers most of the global calendar, with major stops like Berlin (May), London, Amsterdam, and new first-time editions in fresh cities each season (Istanbul, Las Vegas in February 2026, for example). The European season broadly runs from September to May, peaking in spring.
For the full, up-to-date list of every city worldwide, the official site's Find my Race tool remains the reference — this ZONE8 calendar intentionally focuses on France, where most of our community is based.
How to choose your first race
For a first participation, a few criteria matter more than simple proximity:
- Available prep time — aim for a race at least 10-12 weeks out, never less than 8
- Event size — major stops like Paris offer a unique atmosphere, but also more crowding and denser logistics
- Target format — Open to discover the format solo, Doubles to share the effort with a partner, Pro only if you're already at a competitive level
- Overall budget — registration (generally €100-130 for Open), travel, accommodation if the city isn't your own
Once you've picked your date
Allow 8 to 12 weeks of structured preparation before race day, more for a first race. The complete beginner's guide covers the format basics, and our pace calculator helps estimate a realistic time for your distance.
If you already have a race date in mind, enter it when signing up for Coach 8: the generated program will automatically adjust load progression and the final two-week taper to peak precisely on that day, rather than following a generic 8-week cycle with no real deadline.
Prepare for your next race
Enter your target race date at sign-up: Coach 8 automatically adapts your program to peak on that exact day.
